About

Jeanette Lynn Kreuzburg is a voice teacher, vocal coach, studio session vocalist, performer, and songwriter originally from Baltimore, MD. Jeanette has lived and worked as a professional musician in Annapolis, MD since 2007. Her career as a vocalist and songwriter began as a teenager in the late 90’s, under the mentorship of renowned, Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer, Skip Scarborough. Jeanette’s teaching career has spanned over 18 years. Her extensive vocal technique, anatomy, and music theory training spanned over a decade and includes meticulous instruction by internationally recognized vocalists and teachers Tracy Hamlin and later, Kyle Engler, during her studies as a vocal performance major at Western Maryland College. Jeanette would go on to study the Alexander Technique intensely, while refining her unique style of teaching that focuses on long-term vocal health, breath support and control, healthful range expansion, versatile vocal styling, and dynamic vocal performance.

In 2005, after years of performing and gaining experience as a private vocal coach, Jeanette proudly joined the teaching staff at a well-known music school in Baltimore, where she was a popular voice teacher until 2011. From 2009 to 2020, she continued teaching voice, piano, and guitar for all ages in Edgewater, MD and at her private voice studio just outside of Annapolis. During the pandemic, although it became impossible to teach students in face-to-face settings, Jeanette offered her coaching online through workshops and private lessons to students worldwide.

Beyond her career as a vocal coach, Jeanette has had the privilege of co-producing and songwriting with many local artists in Baltimore and Annapolis, MD. She is a sought-after and versatile studio session vocalist, lending lead and background vocals to various projects for musicians and production studios in the local area and far beyond.

Jeanette is honored to serve the incredible music and arts community of Annapolis as a board member of the nonprofit organizations, AMFM, the Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians (www.am-fm.org), and Future History Now (www.futurehistorynow.org). She is also the founder of Mastery Music and Arts, an inclusive arts program that provides music and art experiences for children, teens, and adults with disabilities.
